The Parish Council is a statutory consultee and notified of all planning matters in the parish by Harrogate Borough Council.
Any planning application submitted in the parish are received by the Clerk from Harrogate Borough Council. The Clerk will then notify all Councillors of the planning application and the website link to all supporting planning application documents. Following review of the application the Councillors submit their comments back to the Clerk who then makes comments and representation on behalf of the Council to Harrogate Borough Council.
Any member of the public can also access the full online planning service and make comments on any planning applications.
Please note that each planning application has a deadline date for comments.
